Honestly I don’t know how this place has a 4.5 rating, I visited this place back in August of 2024 still unfamiliar with the town me and my fiancé came across this place, the entrance was guarded by 3 men, they where treating this place like it was a night club, I sensed the vibe of racist and unwanted energy, after reading most of the reviews a lot of minority have had the same treatment is we did, these where not English men, the workers must of escaped the war in Ukraine and are hiding in a pizza place

We were welcomed and offered choice of tables upstairs or down. The food was lovely and the tirimasu best ever. When it came i said oh this is big but I managed to eat it all soooo good. We will be back.

Dropped in last night. Excellent Prawn Linguine and Mojito. I will definitely go back again next time I’m in the Lake District. Looks like a good menu. Shame I didn’t begin with Starters, and the Desert menu looks good too. Wonderful staff, magnifico. 🫠

We ate on Tuesday evening 3 of us including a little one. The food was lovely and was served quick given how busy it was. Pizza was lovely the spaghetti Bolognese the little one finished and the vege rigatoni the mrs loved. Thank you

We were greeted at the door by a man who opened the door for us and quickly closed it for us so that no one else could sneak in. I felt like I was at the entrance of a disco. Not very elegant but probably normal for them. Ordering drinks was chaotic. The waiter had no idea about the drinks. We asked for a red martini and he looked surprised that they had one and then indicated that they didn't. On the drink card it said cocktail but we only wanted the martini and he said he only had cocktails. We then asked if it was a pre-made cocktail or why it was not possible. He said he would ask and the answer was of course yes. Ticked. I wanted a gin and tonic but I don't like the big cocktail glass so I asked if possible to give it in a wikhys glass. Reply again to ask if they had such a glass. Clearly if it says whisky on the drinks tab then it is a glass. They did. Problem solved. The smoothie is perfect.
We ordered pizza and pasta. The pizza was average with not too much flavour. The pasta is acceptable but not perfect if not over cooked it could be flawless. Dessert was a nutella waffle with no flaws.
Overall not a bad place but some of the staff could do with some training. Thank you very much

this is a beautiful venue and they were so good to my partner and I when we arrived late to Windermere. Beautiful food in a gorgeous venue with brilliant service

We sat outside for a drink then decided to order food. The pasta was the nicest I have ever tasted. It was so fresh. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The heaters outside were perfect for an autumn night. I would definitely recommend and will be back the next time we are down in the lakes.
